From Jan 31st, BIRCH is starting regular Shut Up and Write sessions.
These sessions are ideal for anyone with a health research project underway, who needs a bit of oomph to get their bum on the chair and focus on their writing for a chunk of time. The sessions make what can often be an isolated process social, and the quiet team environment helps motivate everyone to stay focused for each of the timed writing sprints.
(Attendees are welcome to undertake data analysis or readings etc instead, but it is often writing that people struggle to prioritise and do for meaningful stretches of time without becoming distracted.)
Fridays 1-4pm (no obligation to attend the whole session)
101 Webster St Ballarat (BIRCH HQ)
RSVP encouraged. Email BIRCH to RSVP or ask questions
We have shortlisted a range of upcoming health research grant opportunities. If you would like assistance in preparing your application, please get in touch to discuss how BIRCH can help.
