Supercharge your research, Thursday 21st November 2019
The aim of this panel is to provide researchers with an expert ‘sounding board’ to explore the concept and strategy of their research idea. The proposed process for this panel is:
- One week prior to the panel, an expression of interest will be submitted by the researcher describing the project [using PICO framework], the identified gap, significance, timeframe and planned communication of the work.
- The EOI’s are forwarded to the panel for review.
- On the panel day, we seek to hear the ‘elevator pitch’ of their work and we will have 10 minutes to offer suggestions for their work.
- Current panel members include Professor Arthur Shulkes (former ADR Faculty Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, University of Melbourne), Associate Professor David Pierce (University of Melbourne honorary in Rural Health, RACGP) and Dr Dora Pearce (honorary Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, Epidemiology and Biostatistics).
Lunch is included from 12.45 - 1.20 pm. Come and chat to the research experts!
